Security and Secure Shopping Verification

Practical Action Publishing guarantees that every transaction made at our online store will be safe. This means you are not liable for any unauthorized charges made to your credit cards as a result of shopping at our online store.

We use the industry standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption to ensure the highest security for credit card and personal details submitted to us over the Internet. This secure server software encrypts all of your personal information including credit or debit card number, name and address. The encryption process takes the characters you enter and converts them into bits of code that are then securely transmitted over the Internet. We are a member of the GlobalSign SSL network. For more information regarding this technology, you can click on the SSL padlock icon found on your browser software to verify our security and find out more.
