With a high population density and a large percentage of youth, Rwanda must contend with the challenges of providing services and opportunities to its growing population.
The lushness of its landscapes could lead one to believe that its land faces no challenges in providing food and income. However, the impacts of climate change pose challenges that agriculture, the country’s main economic activity, needs to address. In addition to other challenges, such as limited access to energy, the country is at a key moment to drive, together with its impressive development, actions and policies that will make possible a prosperous future for all.
