Abstract
The working paper presents the findings of an assessment into the nature of postharvest loss in the strawberry value chain in Kandhamal District. It identifies where and why postharvest loss occurs, assesses the local enabling environment for postharvest management and makes recommendations for improvements that fit with prevailing agricultural, climatic, social and market conditions.
