Abstract
This guide is intended to improve understanding of natural capital and ecosystem services in the development and implementation of all Practical Action projects. For high integrity projects we need to understand the relationship between the environment and the ecosystem services it provides and people’s lives and livelihoods. This guide aims to support field staff and data enumerators to assess natural capital and to use this guide you do not need any previous knowledge or expertise in natural capital.
