Abstract
Since the main study, we have used the econometric model to produce a series of follow-up briefs estimating the potential impact of a select group of business models and external interventions in Nepal, Rwanda and Zambia. The briefs explore mechanisms’ ability to increase access to basic electricity (Tier 1 Solar Home Systems) and improved and clean cooking solutions for the hardest to reach. They look at the total population, people living in extreme poverty and particular sub-groups for each country: female-headed households in Nepal, displaced people in Rwanda and those practicing subsistence farming in Zambia.
