 Climate Risk Insurance Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced professional to lead the implementation of the Scaling Index-Based Flood Insurance for Smallholder Farmers in the Kankai River Basin project. The role will coordinate with government agencies, insurance companies, technical partners, and local stakeholders to design and deliver innovative climate risk insurance solutions. The position will also oversee project planning, stakeholder engagement, partnership development, and risk management to ensure successful project implementation.

About you

You have experience in climate risk financing, insurance, disaster risk management, or a related field, with strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills. You are an effective communicator with excellent analytical and report writing abilities, capable of managing multiple priorities and building strong partnerships.
