Practical Action joins calls to protect climate funding

By Practical Action - 12.03.2026 Climate changeNews

Practical Action has signed a letter to the UK Prime Minister condemning plans to cut climate funding amid a lack of clarity around overall spending on climate finance.

This is important because the UK, as one of the richest countries in the world, has greater responsibility for climate change than less developed countries. Every day, Practical Action works with people struggling to cope with the damage caused by extreme weather and we believe the UK Government has a moral obligation to pay for the adaptation needed to help people cope with it.
