Abstract
Practical Action aims to build resilience in the Rímac watershed in the Lima area by strengthening all four components of the Early Warning System (EWS): risk knowledge, monitoring, communication, and response. Through the Flood Resilience Programme and the ‘Anticipatory Action in the Andes’ project, Practical Action helps expand rainfall monitoring and brings communities closer to rainfall information.
