Donate in memory

Many of our kind supporters arrange for donations to be made in memory of a loved one to Practical Action, often instead of flowers at the funeral, or by donating on a cherished special date such as a birthday or anniversary.

We are always extremely grateful for such sensitive and thoughtful gestures and they are a valuable contribution to our vital work.  We understand how difficult it can be during such times of grief and sadness, but by choosing to celebrate the life of a loved one through special gifts, you will enable us to continue our work long after flowers or cards have faded and so form an enduring charity legacy.

How to donate in memory

You can make a donation online, by calling us on 0800 389 1624 or by posting a cheque to us at FREEPOST RTHZ-ELJX-KEZS , Practical Action, Bourton, Rugby, CV23 9QZ.

You can also make arrangements with your Funeral Director to collect the donations on your behalf.  We also have collection envelopes as a convenient way to collect donations at a funeral or memorial service.

Please be sure to let us know the name of who you are remembering with this gift, every one of which will be acknowledged with much gratitude.

You could also create a tribute page through JustGiving and invite friends and loved ones to donate there or you may consider creating a special memorial website with our partner charity Much Loved.

Much Loved memorial website

Much Loved are a UK charity that helps you to create beautiful and special memorial websites to remember and commemorate your loved ones.  Their websites allow you and others to express and share their feelings in words, pictures, music or even video.

Much Loved websites are easy to create, it just takes a few minutes even if you're not so familiar with using computers.  The website can also accept donations online for Practical Action too.

You can create an on-line Much Loved tribute page here:
