TEAM PURPOSE: To improve food security and nutrition for the smallholder farmers using simple technologies, increasing their knowledge and access to markets.

JOB PURPOSE: The Project Manager is responsible for overall coordination of activities & stakeholders in Mutasa district including work planning, budget management, drafting donor reports and line management of all LFSP staff in the district. He/she also provides direction to Mutasa District LFSP activities, to ensure delivery of project according to contractual expectations.

Qualifications and Competencies

  •  Degree in Agriculture, Development Studies, Economics or any related field
  •  A qualification in project management;
  •  A relevant Master’s Degree is an added advantage.
  •  Practical skills in people management;
  •  Critical thinking and problem solving skills;
  •  Planning, organizing coordination, documentation and communication skills;
  •  Influencing, leading and delegation skills;
  • Team work with conflict management skills.

Relevant Job Experience
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in project management with 2 years working with communities and diverse teams.
