Practical Action have an exciting opportunity for an Officer for Programme Analysis in our Dhaka offices. This is a mid-level core position in the Thematic Leadership Unit to analyse the business case for selection and /or strengthen of any innovative enterprise for sustainable poverty reduction of socio culturally vulnerable people in urban and rural context.

An experienced professional, you will have following:

  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration/ Marketing/ Finance/ Economics/ Management Information Systems (MIS)/ Accounting preferably with Master in Business Administration
  • At least 3 years of working experience of business implementation of which 1 year should include financial modelling experience.
  • Experience working with technology and innovation, social inclusion will be an added advantage
  • In-depth understanding of the development priorities of Bangladesh and how to include business ideas to achieve environment/livelihoods/urban/energy/agriculture etc. sector development.
  • Ability to design short term and long term and cross sectoral program
  • Ability to design and deliver business models and prepare forecasting for businesses.
  • Excellent report writing, analytical and communication skills
  • Excellent oral presentation skills and in-depth knowledge and experience in major donor reporting requirements
  • Excellent ability to work with a virtual cross-functional team
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and set priorities
  • Fluency in Bangla and English required
