Practical Action's response and commitment with the world beginning to move towards a reduced carbon economy where everybody is expected to participate collectively for a better world, it is imperative for Practical Action be in the forefront of the effort. Practical Action on seeks to ensure that the sustainable development needs of poor people are at the centre of an effective post-2012 international agreement on climate change. To achieve this, we will generate information to Improve understanding of the actual and potential impacts of climate change on the people we support through our work, develop Interventions that help communities adapt to climate change and reduce the carbon footprint of Practical Action.
