Boiling Point 46 : Strengthening Village and Neighbourhood Organisations: Safety Networks for the Vulnerable

From a project implemented in Karagwe district in Tanzania, this article describes the challenges faced by people elderly. Traditionally, new generations receive previous positive experiences, for example in terms of preservation and distribution of resources. This model is being change and elderly people are now considered a load even though they support many activities servants.
