Apperly quarter marathon

In September 2017, Gloucestershire Poet Laureate, Brenda Read-Brown completed the Apperley Quarter Marathon to raise funds for Practical Action. Brenda really enjoyed training, recalling "Running alongside wheat fields early in the mornings was a joy! And I’m a poet, so it gave me the opportunity to work on poems in my head, with a bit of peace and quiet."
