Global Citizenship
The Eco-schools programme provides an opportunity for children to find out about different cultures and the way in which children's lives are different around the world. Many of the other topics can be viewed through a global lens to enrich children's understanding and knowledge of sustainability and other global issues. For example you could look at growing pumpkins in Bangladesh and in the UK, or how plastic waste is reused in Nepal.
