Description of project: 

Develop a guidebook, through desk research,  to support developing countries assess their needs and prepare their action plans for the development, diffusion and deployment of various adaptation technologies and practices in the agricultural sector.  The guidebook, written in a language accessible to any audience, covers adaptation technologies for crops and livestock and highlights key experiences and gaps in knowledge.  The guidebook also explains basic concepts of climate change adaptation and includes a glossary with essential technical terms specific to the agriculture sector.  The guidebook’s target audience is the national Tecnological Needs Assessment (TNA) teams, which consists of a broad range of stakeholders from government institutions, non-government orgnisations and the private sector. The guidebook is also available in Spanish.
