About the role
Practical Action Consulting (PAC) is the consulting arm of the Practical Action Group. The Practical Action Group has consulting offices in the UK, Senegal, Nepal, India, Bangladesh, Kenya and Peru – each managed separately, but working in collaboration.
This is an exciting entry-level opportunity in the PAC International Team. The team is led from the UK but delivers work internationally and collaborates with colleagues in other PAC offices. PAC International is a small, dynamic team of highly skilled consultancy professionals working in the energy, agriculture and resilience/disaster risk reduction sectors.
This role would be the ideal opportunity for a recent graduate to gain experience and participate in a broad range of business practices and project activities within an international development consultancy business.
As an Energy & Agriculture Intern you will support the technical teams (particularly agriculture and energy teams) in winning new consultancy work, building your knowledge and skills in business development. You will also be given the opportunity to develop your skills in project delivery, providing support and gaining knowledge from our highly skilled project managers and technical specialists within the Energy and Agriculture.
