For a slightly more extensive introduction to looking at flooding, the Who's most at risk? role play activity enables pupils to consider how different people are affected by natural hazards in many parts of the world, including Europe.
We have a new video to support this resource. Narrated by Ortis Deley and filmed in Bangladesh, it is one of three videos looking at technology justice in action.
We suggest you play this to your pupils once they have completed the challenge to aid further discussion. Information and links to all three videos can be found on our #techjustice in action pages.
In addition, you may also wish to show the video clip of Beat the Flood : Flood resistant homes in Bangladesh or the first 1min 40secs from the video below that shows flooding in the UK before looking at flooding in Bangladesh.
For further ideas on how to explore the role of technology in development with pupils, have a look at our education materials on Technology Justice, exploring the technologies we need and want now and in the future.
