Food and Agriculture

A wide range of technologies are available that help farmers both grow their food and transport it to market.  These videos look at some of the technologies Practical Action has introduced by working with local communities in the developing world.

The squashed tomato challenge is a hands-on, brains-on challenge for pupils to design and build a model of a system that could transport tomatoes down a mountainside. Designed for ages 9-16. .
