Responsibilities:
- Managing the Finance, Administration, Personnel & Information Technology teams
- Guide and provide assistance to the Programme Team Leaders to ensure adherence to financial management reporting requirements
- Meet Finance, Admin, Personal and IT reporting responsibilities to the Head Office in UK
- Provide management (non-technical) support for the IT function of Practical Action
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Excellent managerial skills
- Be a member of a recognized accounting body (ACA, CIMA or ACCA) with a minimum of 10 years post qualified experience with 8 years in managerial capacity
- Sound knowledge of accounting/taxation/labour policies
- Have worked in a computerized environment and experienced with computer based accounting systems
- Excellent communication skills in English

Experience in an audit firm and / or in a Non-Government Organisation will be an advantage
