Sudan Technology Justice Conference

Practical Action 50th anniversary

Practical Action Sudan celebrated the organisation's 50th Anniversary through the first National Technology Justice Conference in Sudan, under the patronage of Dr. Tahani Abdalla Attia, the Minister of Communication and Information Technology.

The Conference included a variety of speeches, presentations and sessions. Some of the paper presented were by Practical Action's experienced staff, discussing technology justice in relation to energy, agriculture and DRR.

Moreover, several presenters with different backgrounds and levels of experience demonstrated their understanding of the technology justice concept, informing the audience with a wider scope which cemented the purpose behind our conference.

There was a lively performance by RAI Vocal Group and Ahalina Dance group on the first day - and an unforgettable and passionate performance by Sudan University's College of Music and Drama Choral.
