Out of its Khartoum office, Practical Action Sudan is extending its information provision service. It allows customers to use its library and facilitates a link with the Technical Enquiry Service (TES) based in the head office in the UK.

Practical Action Sudan can undertake technical training in:

• food processing -- mainly oil expelling, food preservation, fruit and vegetable processing
• blacksmithing, metal and aluminum casting
• rural transport
• brick making
• grain storage, animal drawn ploughs, water harvesting and spreading, agro-forestry
• renewable energy and small enterprise development.
