Recycling for life, for Practical Action
Now there's a way of helping our planet and supporting Practical Action at the same time. By sending us your unwanted mobile phones and coins we can turn them into cash - which in turn will supply vital support for communities in need. Please note that we are currently unable to recycle printer cartridges.
If you have old, unused mobile phones lying around at home then why not just send them to us, free of charge, to the address given below. Practical Action receives at least £2 for every handset sent in, and even more if the phone powers on and comes complete with charger and attachments. So, for every three handsets we receive two families in Sudan could receive a fuel efficient stove, and for every five a family in Nepal could buy a solar power dryer to preserve their food.
Plus, your old phone can be put to good use rather than simply creating more waste!
Do you have an array of foreign and obsolete coins or banknotes lurking in the bottom of a drawer or moneybox? If so then we can put these to good use by raising essential funds for Practical Action. Even currencies that are no longer legal tender, such as those replaced by the Euro or prior to decimalisation, are collected and have some value.
To support Practical Action with your unwanted currencies please send your coins and banknotes to the address below.
