Publications

The compilation, processing, editing, production and publishing of information has been one of the pillars of Practical Action Latin America's work since 1987 when "Cambio tecnol�gico en poblaciones rurales andinas" (Technical change in rural Andean populations) was published.

Since then, Practical Action Ediciones has published more than 97 monographs and 4 widely distributed journals. Practical Action Latin America has published more titles than any other Peruvian NGO in the last 2 years. Publications cover the work of each of the technology programmes and combine solid technical content with clear editing. Practical Action has produced joint publications with the World Bank and the Inter American Development Bank, among others.

Many of these publications can be viewed online on the Practical Action Latin America website (Spanish language).

Journals

H I D R O R E D
The journal of the Latin American Hydroenergy Network, Hidrored publishes articles relating to micro and mini hydroenergy and rural electrification. Initiated in 1990, it currently has over 500 readers in Latin America and other continents.
