Programme Partnership Arrangement (PPA)

Practical Action has been awarded a Programme Partnership Arrangements (PPA) grant by the UK Government’s Department for International Development.

We will receive significant funding for the next three years to support our work in poverty alleviation in Africa, South America and Asia. The funding was won against competition from over 400 NGOs worldwide and Practical Action was one of only 40 to submit a successful bid.

Winning this funding is a ringing endorsement of Practical Action’s work and testament to the commitment and progress made by our staff over the past few years.

Unrestricted funding like this is so important to charities like ours as it gives us the financial flexibility to implement and deliver innovative new projects to people who really need a hand up out of poverty.

The funding will support our work for the next three years to support and empower marginalised people around the world to challenge their poverty through the innovative use of technology.
