In the era of globalisation, new technologies are rapidly shaping the livelihoods of people throughout the world. The pace of technological change is increasing, and is beyond the capacity of society to understand and regulate its impacts - even when the implications are profound and far reaching.

Practical Action no longer has a separate New Technologies programme, but embeds this approach across our programme work.
