Development of commercially viable wind power systems in Nepal (RENP)
This is a research-focused project which aims to establish commercially viable wind power system in Nepal.
For this, Practical Action has partnered with Kathmandu Alternative Power and Energy Group (KAPEG). Practical Action has the role of project execution and monitoring, coordination and communication, supervision of research works, site finalisation, field testing, installation and performance test, supervise development of technical guidelines and operational manual and develop commercialisation plan and strategy.
The project is being implemented from April 2012 to March 2014.
