African Voices in Europe
As part of an EU-funded project, Practical Action asked farmers, teachers and small businesses what would make a real difference to their lives. Their answers are captured on this series of one-minute videos, which illustrate how aid to Africa is failing to address real needs.

Participatory video in Peru
Practical Action joined forces with Insight to explore the potential of Participatory Video as a tool to help marginalised farmers in Peru get the best out of technology and markets.

The results of a three-year project to demonstrate how information and communication technologies (ICTs) can be harnessed for small enterprise development in Kenya and Bangladesh.

Kamayoqs in Peru and the fraije
Practical Action is working with remote indigenous Andean communities to help protect their alpacas and to improve livelihoods and reduce vulnerability to climate change. Alpacas are particularly vulnerable to the freezing conditions known as the fraije.

Women's Voices
Women's Voices is an international project which works with poor urban women in Kenya, Peru and Zimbabwe by supporting their existing communication skills. The women in each country received brief training in video use before taking control in using it to reach, inform and influence those who have the power to affect their lives.
