"Kit" was Practical Action East Africa's newsletter, and featured reports on all aspects of Practical Action-EA's work. Each issue is available to read online, or can be downloaded as a full-colour PDF for printing.

Kit: Practical Action-EA's newsletter June 2003

The June 2003 issue focuses on marginalised or "hardship" areas, and in particular the problems affecting people living in the North Rift. Features include: a voluntary HIV/Aids counselling and testing centre, animal health, conflict in the north and a teacher's view of the insecurity, how sand dams are regenerating Baragoi, strengthening participatory urban planning, international women's day, community seed shows, living with wildlife, Practical Action's new programme aims, and questioning whether ICTs can help to bridge the poverty gap.
