HRH The Prince of Wales talks with Practical Action staff in 1999
Today we are wishing our patron HRH The Prince of Wales a very Happy 70th Birthday.
HRH has been Practical Action’s patron since 1980 after meeting our founder, radical economist Fritz Schumacher in the 1970s whose ideas inspired him to support us. HRH later opened our new offices in Rugby in 1999 and we were lucky enough to be part of his ‘Garden party to make a difference’ at Clarence House, a festival promoting green living in 2010. We continue to enjoy a great relationship with HRH and we hope he has a fantastic Birthday.
