Digital Officer (Marketing)
It’s exciting time here at Practical Action; we’re developing a new business strategy and embarking on a brand repositioning exercise. Digital is going to be central to the success of both of these projects, so we need the right people to help us deliver that. The Digital Marketing Officer role is a brand new position, which will be vital to delivering our ambition to be better known, and engage with new audiences.
You will be responsible for telling the Practical Action story across our digital channels, working closely with the Website and Optimisation Officer and the Social Media and Content Officer to deliver a fantastic online experience. Working closely with teams across different departments and countries, you will use your digital marketing skills to build and develop our audiences.
You will be proactive, confident and adaptable - and of course, ready for a challenge. Your analytical expertise will help us to get the best out of our digital marketing activities, whilst keeping our brand values at the core of everything you do.
Practical Action is an international non-governmental organisation (NGO) that uses sustainable technology to challenge poverty in developing countries and improve the lives of people worldwide. We find out what people are doing and help them to do it better. Through technology we enable poor communities to build on their skills and knowledge to produce sustainable and practical solutions- transforming their lives forever and protecting the world around them.
