Rebecca Clements

Rebecca has a background in international political theory, multiculturalism, human rights and international development. Currently working as Project Coordinator in PAC Latin America, Rebecca is responsible for developing work in Ecuador and Nicaragua and for pioneering PAC’s climate change work in the region. Rebecca is involved in production of proposals, report delivery, Quality Assurance and is experienced in project design and management of a wide range of social development initiatives including climate change, rural development and livelihoods, bioenergy, food security, intermediate transport, and renewable energy. Rebecca has undertaken research into governance and advocacy in Africa, cash transfers, microfinance, food security, small scale bioenergy development, community-based adaptation to climate change, international climate change policy, and mitigation mechanisms (including clean development technologies and carbon markets). Rebecca has been instrumental in the design of PAC´s climate change training course and the Implications for People and Poverty. Rebecca has worked in Lesotho, Kenya and Nicaragua. She speaks fluent French, German and Spanish.
