Sustainable livelihoods through capacity building and enterprise development
The project contributes to the alleviation of poverty in Bangladesh by increasing the livelihood options and outcomes achieved by poor women and men in operating profitable micro-enterprises and income-generating activities.
Key to this initiative is strengthening the organisational and technical capacity of six lead-Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) to channel enterprise-development skills, training and resources to at least 100 small community-level (second tier) CSOs in three regions.
Project End: April 2006
This project is part of Practical Action Bangladesh's Markets and Livelihoods programme.
