Across Nepal there has been a huge amount of damage. In the northern part of Gorkha, at the epicentre of the earthquake, we believe up to 90 per cent of houses have been damaged or destroyed.

We have been working with thousands of people in these communities for many years and are using our contacts and experience to help relief efforts in the region.
